Senior Congress leader Rajendra Prasad died: Jharkhand, Condolences to Rahul Gandhi on his death.
Congress MLA from Jharkhand, Rajendra Prasad Singh (75) died at a private hospital in New Delhi on Sunday following a brief illness, family sources said.
Condolences to Rahul Gandhi on his death said that "Saddened to hear the news of the death of senior Congress leader and former Minister of Jharkhand Rajendra Singh. My condolences to his family and loved ones in this hour of grief".
The former Jharkhand minister is survived by four daughters and two sons, they said.
Singh was suffering from a lung infection and died at 12.30 in the hospital in New Delhi, his personal assistant Mithilesh Kumar Tiwari said.
