UP: 15 New Cases Mathura, Mainpuri Aligarh: fresh cases of Coronavirus were reported from Mathura, Mainpuri and Aligarh on Wednesday.
Aligarh: At least 15 fresh cases of Coronavirus were reported from Mathura, Mainpuri and Aligarh on Wednesday.
While six persons from the same family in Mathura tested positive for the disease, six migrant workers who had returned from other states including Gujarat and Maharashtra were also found infected. Three fresh cases reported in Aligarh. With the new patients the tally of positive cases in Mathura rose to 57, 26 in Mainpuri and 103 in Aligarh.
According to district officials in Mainpuri, six persons including three from Bewar who recently returned from Maharashtra’s Maelgaon tested positive for the disease. Other infected patients including a woman had returned from Ahmedabad. All of them have been shifted to the Isolation facility for treatment. Till now, 10 patients have been cured and two have succumbed to Coronavirus.
In Mathura, six persons, who were tested positive for the disease include two minor children aged 12 and 15 and three men and a woman. Health officials said that earlier a woman from the same family had tested positive for Coronavirus, hence 13 members of her family were quarantined. Of these, six had tested positive on Wednesday.
In Aligarh, three more persons including a mother of a one-and-a-half year-old-girl, who had earlier tested positive for the disease, was infected from Coronavirus. Two other patients include a 70-year-old man from Shahjamal area and a 30-year-old woman from Bhojpura.
Meanwhile, district administration has provided relief in areas not included in containment zones. Home delivery of food items has been permitted, however, sitting in restaurants will not be allowed. Mathura administration has permitted opening of shops on alternate days area wise.
